  • How much do you charge?

    $50 for an one-hour lesson.

  • Where do you teach?

    I teach out of my home in the 98026 ZIP code.

  • Will you travel to teach at my home?

    Yes, but I charge extra for the time I spend traveling between your home and mine.

  • Do you teach online?

    Yes, although this is not the best method, especially for someone that has never played bassoon.

  • Do I have to sign up for weekly lessons?

    No, I’m happy to listen to someone in a mock audition or recital.

  • What do I need to start?

    You need a bassoon, cleaning swabs, cork grease, seat strap, reeds, reed cup, etude book, metronome, tuner and pencil at every lesson. If you’re new please contact me before acquiring any of these items, especially a bassoon. Local music stores stock some of the worst items available.
